How to add an Interpreter/Captioner to Canvas

  1. On Canvas, the instructor will need to click "people" on the left side of the screen adjacent to the icons while in the desired course.

  2. Next, click the "+ people" button on the right hand side of the screen.

  3. In the text box, input your Mt. SAC email address** (personal email addresses will not work). Then, choose the Interpreter/Captioner's role as "Non-Grading TA" from the drop down menu.

  4. You can alternatively choose SIS ID and in the text box enter their A#ADDwA#
    That's it. The Interpreter/Captioner should be successfully added!
