Emerging Leaders
Join the Mt. SAC Management Program as we kick off our Emerging Leaders segment! In this series we hear from recent graduates who majored in Business. Students will have the opportunity hear their experiences as business students and as young professionals. Participants will be able to ask questions through a Q&A format. Learn how to get the most of your education. Be inspired as we celebrate these up and coming professionals!

About the Speakers
Malia Pope
Malia Pope is the President of Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) at Cal Poly Pomona. She is entering her fourth year and final semester at CPP, majoring in Technology and Operations Management. Malie was able to transfer what she had learned in the classroom towards her Project Management Internship at Northrop Grumman this past summer.
During her role as President, Malia hopes to connect with her peers and serve others. Some of her hobbies include photography, spending time with friends and family, and building Legos!
Amahni Yarber
Amahni Yarber is the founder and director of Teach Me Ms. Amahni, a private tutoring company that
offers an unparalleled experience of excellent academic preparation coupled with an
exceptional level of care and holistic support for each child.
A military child, she grew up in four countries and has has taught in Turkey, Germany,
and the United States. Over the years, Amahni has been blessed to work with hundreds
of pre-k to college-level students from ages 3 to 70.
Her volunteer experiences include interning at special education summer schools, rebuilding
homes in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria, serving as an English-German translator
at the 2013 Special Olympics held in Kaiserslautern, Germany, and running miles to
the finish with participants of the 2016 LA Marathon.
In June 2023, she will award her first scholarship, the Amahni E. Yarber Second Chances
Scholarship, to a student at Mt. San Antonio College, the community college she attended.
Amahni is dedicated to growth and learning in all areas of life, and especially enjoys
sharing her love for learning with young people.
When she’s not teaching, she can usually be found running, reading, or writing letters.
Sean Takari
Sean Takari is a Cal Poly Pomona graduate. He majored in Business Technology and Operation Management with an emphasis of Operation Management and completed his degree in Spring of 2023. He was the Vice President of Operations Management Society (OMS) Club during the 2022-2023 school year. Sean found this role rewarding because he served others. He loves to help people and serve his community. One of Sean's goals in life is to become a successful entrepreneur.
Sean's hobbies consist of playing video games and sports.
Nived Myuran
Nived Myuran is a highly motivated young man who recently graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a degree in Business Administration, where he pursued a double concentration in Operations & Supply Chain Management and Finance. Nived continuously exhibited great analytical talents, problem-solving ability, and thorough attention to detail from his time as a Global Supply Chain Intern for Northrop Grumman. During his years in college, he was involved with various clubs and organizations, where he was able to grow not only his network but also his friendships. In July, Nived was able to follow his lifelong dream as he started as an ERP Consultant at RSM US LLP.
