Financial Planning Certificate

As a nationally-ranked community college, Mt. SAC offers students the full college experience without the full college debt. After taking 5 classes with experienced faculty, students will be prepared for entry-level employment within Financial Planning. Students can finish this certificate in as little as two semesters.

Quality Coursework 

Mt. San Antonio College is an accredited community college ranked No. 1 in the state and No. 7 in the country among the Best Vocational and Trade Colleges by Real Work Magazine. The Financial Planning Certificate is 20 units (5 courses). The courses provides basic accounting skills and knowledge combined with specialized training in financial planning, preparing the student for entry-level positions and/or professional advancement in their current accounting jobs. Great Career Prospects

Students completing this certificate will be able to assist companies within the areas of budget analysis, tax reporting, financial and investment planning and analysis. This certificate can be completed in as little as two semesters. According to U.S. Department of Labor data, the median salary in California Financial Examiner is $98,400. Affordable Cost

Many students think they can't afford college, but we make college a possibility for everyone. At just $46 a unit, Mt. SAC is 1/5 the cost of CSU schools, 1/10 the cost of UC schools, and 1/30 the cost of private universities. Classes are highly affordable at just $46 a unit. Close to 75% of our students receive financial aid and pay close to nothing to attend thanks to the Promise Grant.
