 Privacy Policy

Information Collected

Mt. San Antonio College collects personal information, including but not limited to; name, address, email address, telephone number, social security number and educational background. Such personal information may be requested for research, public service, or for administrative purposes. Additional personal information, such as credit card account information, may be requested for purchases or enrollment purposes.

Use of Collected Information

Mt. San Antonio College collects and uses information necessary to administer College business and to meet federal and state reporting requirements. The College may use personal information collected from websites, College applications, etc. for the purpose of future communications back to enrollees, in order to keep current and former students informed of such activities as campus programs, symposia and or special events. Email address may be used by faculty and administrators to communicate with students.

Security Policy

Your payment and personal information is always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet.

Refund Policy

Refund of Fees for Students Enrolled in Credit Courses

1. All College fees applicable to a class or classes cancelled by the College will be refunded to the student.
   
   
2. In order to receive a refund you must drop your class(es) by the refund deadline for that class. The deadline can be found on your Student Schedule/Receipt. If your class has been officially dropped, or cancelled by the College, you will receive a refund through the College’s partnership with Higher One on your Mt. SAC card. See the my.mtsac.edu student portal for further information on this service.
   
   
3. The Parking Fee will be fully refunded to a student who withdraws from the College and follows the deadline found in the class schedule. The parking decal must be returned, or non-use by other students verified to obtain the parking fee refund.
   
   
4. In the case of students who are members of an active or reserve military service, and who receive orders compelling a withdrawal from courses, the College shall, upon petition by the affected student, refund the parking fee, health fee, student representation fee, student activities fee, entire enrollment fee and non-resident tuition fee unless academic credit is awarded.
