Transfer Program:
Mt. SAC is your pathway to earning an Associate's degree and the gateway to transferring to top universities for a bachelor's degree. Our transfer rates are among the highest in California. We have "articulation agreements" with UC, CSU and private universities to ensure that our courses are transferable and satisfy the requirements for their respective degree programs.

Career & Vocational:
Mt. SAC is your pathway to your dream job . . . whether you're just starting out or if you're in a "mid-career crisis." In fact, more than two-thirds of our students are attending Mt. SAC to directly enter the job market or start second careers. We offer short-term specialization certificates, courses and training that's in synch with the needs of the job market today and tomorrow. Professional Development:

Whether or not you have a college degree, or if you're still working or retired, we encourage you to explore the benefits of lifelong learning. It keeps you sharp and on top of your game. Mt. SAC students range in age from 7 to 70, and they're enriching their lives through the wide range of Community Education noncredit programs, tailored to their interests. College for Kids, GED/high school diploma, adult basic skills, recreation, travel, arts and leisure, business, professional development, medical and fitness programs, dog training, and just about anything else you can imagine . . . you want it, we've got it!

Some 500 of the 1,800 students who petitioned for associate degrees participated in Mt. SAC's 63rd Commencement Ceremony on June 12.
Mt. SAC was recently crowned as the 2008-09 National Alliance of Two-Year College Athletic Administrators (NATYCAA) Cup Champions.
Mt. SAC student Christopher Martinez recently won the 3D Digital Imagery Architectural / Industrial Award at the 2009 Media Arts Award Competition for Community Colleges.
The Mt. SAC Women's Softball Team and coach Kelly Ford captured the '09 California Community College Softball Championship title recently in Salinas.
