I firmly believe in the importance of maintaining a good heart and genuine intentions in all my actions. I approach every endeavor with honesty and a sincere desire to make a positive impact. As the current campus Community Senator, I have prioritized the well-being and interests of those around me and ensured that my leadership is guided by principles of fairness, equity, and compassion.

Advocating for underrepresented and marginalized communities is one of my main priorities. As a Black woman pursuing a degree in biomedical engineering, I am constantly aware of the lack of diversity within STEM fields. I have personally experienced the isolation of being the only Black individual in my classes, which at times has led to self-doubt. However, I remain resolute in my commitment to represent and empower minority voices in spaces where they are underrepresented. My experiences have fueled my passion for increasing diversity and inclusion within STEM fields and beyond. I am driven by the belief that diversity fosters innovation and creativity and that every individual, regardless of their background, deserves the opportunity to pursue their passions and excel in their chosen field. As your next Student Trustee, I am committed to leveraging my platform and privilege to advocate for systemic change and create pathways for underrepresented individuals to thrive in. Furthermore, I recognize the importance of using my education and knowledge to uplift others and pave the way for future generations. By opening doors and creating opportunities for minorities who face similar challenges, I aim to empower individuals to realize their full potential and contribute meaningfully to their communities and society at large.
