Student Equity Speaker Series & NextUp/REACH Present:
In recognition of National Foster Care Awareness Month this May, the NextUp/REACH Program invites you to join us for a special event featuring Dr. Sharrica Miller, a nurse practitioner who spent 12 years of her childhood bouncing around 7 different foster care placements and who now serves as an Associate Professor and Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
Dr. Miller is also the author of the memoir, Verses: Lessons Learned from Foster Care. Those in attendance will receive a free copy of her book.
This event is free and open to all. Refreshments will be provided.
