If you grew up hearing or using Spanish at home or in your community, SPAN 1S and SPAN 2S are for you.

 

SPAN 1S (and SPAN 2S) are specifically designed for students who already have experience with Spanish. These courses:

-Strengthen academic and professional Spanish

-Build confidence in reading, writing, and formal communication

-Affirm your identity and cultural knowledge as a Spanish speaker

-Create a strong sense of community and belonging in the classroom

 

✨ You do NOT need perfect Spanish

✨ Your home and community Spanish are valued

✨ We build from what you already know

 

Why not SPAN 1?

SPAN 1 is for students learning Spanish for the first time. Heritage speakers often feel unchallenged or disconnected in beginner courses. SPAN 1S and 2S are designed with you in mind.
