WATCH: Rocket Team blasts off Project

The Mt. SAC Rocket Team built a multi-stage missile at the Mountie MakerSpace and successfully launched it in the Mojave Desert this past weekend. They shared the footage with the Newsroom after we caught up with them at the MakerSpace, just as they were putting the finishing touches on the experimental rocket. The tip or dart of the rocket was believed to travel at mach 7, or seven times the speed of sound.
