Holiday Happenings Around Campus
November 29, 2022 - 03:23 PM
From a turkey and gravy Gratitude Lunch to holiday carolers, the Mt. SAC Campus is definitely putting forth the “It’s that time of the year” vibes.
Right before Thanksgiving break, Student Services held a gratitude lunch of turkey or ham, as well as all the ‘fixins’. All students, staff and faculty were invited.
Students were quite happy to have a Thanksgiving-style lunch and to be able to eat
all together.
No one left hungry. We can guarantee that.
The Associated Students hosted a crafts area where attendees could make their own
holiday ornament.
Other Student Services programs held drive-thrus for their students to pick up a meal
for the Thanksgiving holiday. This was Promise+Plus’ event.
The Music Department’s Concert Choir and Wind Ensemble teamed up for a holiday carols sing-along on the Mountie Café patio.
Here is a video of “Let it Snow”, as well as a number described as a traditional holiday tune from Nigeria.
Lyric sheets to the songs were handed out for everyone to help out with the caroling.
