Mt. SAC Featured in Excelencia in Education

Mt. SAC has been featured in Excelencia in Education as the No. 1 California Community College for Hispanic undergrads enrolling and completing their degrees. 

According to Excelencia in Education, the graduation rate for Hispanics at two-year institutions are nine percent lower than that of their non-Hispanic peers. Key indicators for student progress in the report include graduation rates, transfer rates, current and non-current enrollment rates. 

The only higher education institutions with higher numbers were California State Universities in Fullerton, Northridge, Long Beach and Los Angeles. Mt. SAC led the way for community colleges.
