The Mt. SAC Men's Swim and Dive Team Make History

The Mt. SAC Men's Swim and Dive Team made history this month winning the programs first ever 3C2A State Championship in Costa Mesa, California.
This Victory marks the 102nd overall state title in Mt. SAC's storied athletic history. Competing against teams from 31 colleges statewide. Mt. SAC earned a score of 421 tying Sierra College, who has now won six consecutive titles, and surpassing last year's runner-up American River, who finished with a score of 418.
The team collected six medals across 21 events- including one gold, two silver, and three bronze. Lincoln Jones captured gold in the 200 backstrokes silver in the 400 IM and bronze in the 100 IM. These standout performances, along with strategic coaching, led to Head Coach Mar Ruh being named Men's Coach of the Year. The team also captured the South Coast Conference title for the tenth time in the last 11 seasons with Lincoln Jones and Like Marsden earning Co-Swimmer of the Year honors.
This milestone season was marked by school records, meet records, personal bests and an unrelenting commitment to excellence. Congratulations to these remarkable student athletes and the coaching staff for etching their names in Mt. SAC history and bringing home the first state title in Men's Swim and Dive.
