Culturama: Weekend of the Arts

Culturama is a three-day celebration of art in all its forms, including poetry, ceramics, writing, and music May 3 to 5.
The event will kick off with the unveiling of mosaic murals, featuring the geometric abstractions of Karl Benjamin that were recreated by mosaicist Alba Cisneros on Friday, May 3, at 12:30 p.m. in front of the arts building (1A).
Culturama also includes the 12th annual Writers’ Weekend. Participants will have an opportunity to meet poet and American Book Award winner Juan Delgado as well as Stephanie Barbé Hammer, a five-time nominee of the Pushcart Prize.
Weekend of the arts is open to the public. Tickets for the event are $7 for students and $15 general admission.
