Health Occupations Students Win Big

Mt. San Antonio College Health Occupations Students of America: Future Health Professionals academic competitors continued their winning streak at the State Leadership Conference held last month in Sacramento.

Mt. SAC HOSA teams, competing against  nearly 4,000 others from across the country, won a total of 19 medals, including four golds in the Biomedical Debate category. Two teams that competed in Creative Problem Solving,  won three gold medals and four silvers. All 11 of the team members competed in  Knowledge exams and brought home  one bronze, two silver and five gold medals. 

All of the students will have the opportunity to compete at the International Leadership Conference in June in Orlando, Florida where there will be over 12, 000 competitors.
