Swimming Teams Capture SCC Titles

Mountie Men’s and Women’s swimming teams won South Coast Conference championships last weekend. For the Women, it was their third conference title in four years. For the Men, it was their third consecutive conference championship.

The Mountie Men with 845 points beat second-place Long Beach City College (590) and third-place Pasadena City College (544) by a wide margin. With three individual championships, Mt. SAC’s Spencer Chlebowski was named Co-Swimmer of the Year.

Mt. SAC Women won the championship with 730.5 points, ahead of second-place El Camino (615).

Men’s head coach Marc Ruh and Women’s head coach Chris Jackson were each named South Coast Conference Coach of the Year.
