59th Mt. SAC Relays to Run Apr. 13 - 15

The 59th edition of the world-renowned Mt. SAC Relays will once again host many of the world’s top track and field athletes. The three-day event will be held Thurs., Apr. 13 through Sat., Apr. 15. Due to construction on the new Hilmer Lodge Stadium (on the Mt. SAC campus), this year’s event will be held at El Camino College’s new Murdock Stadium in Torrance.
The world’s largest track and field competition will feature over 4,500 youth through world-class competitors, from 25 countries, competing in over 180 running and field events. The road to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics will begin at the Mt. SAC Relays for many of this year’s athletes. The Mt. SAC Relays will feature current stars from the 2016 Rio Olympics and future stars aiming for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
Just some of the many stars expected to compete at the 2017 Mt. SAC Relays include six-time Olympic gold medalist Allyson Felix, 2016 Olympic gold medalist Daililah Muhammad, and 2012 Olympic gold medalist Aries Merritt.
