Sixth Annual “Dr. Deborah Boroch Discovery Day”

On May 13, Mt. SAC’s Natural Sciences Division will be holding the sixth annual Dr. Deborah Boroch Discovery Day from 7:30a.m.-2:00p.m. The theme this year will be “Water is Life” using math and science to learn about the importance of conserving water.

The program is designed for fourth-seventh graders and includes a 90 minute session at the Mt. Sac Randell Planetarium for rocket building or two 40 minute breakdown sessions lead by faculty in the Natural Sciences Division Registration is $7 and includes a T-shirt and lunch for each student.

Parents are encouraged to attend with their children and enjoy a tour of the Mt. SAC Wildlife Sanctuary and/or the B.J. Meek museum after lunch.
