The Mt. San Antonio College Board of Trustees will remain the same following the results of the 2024 General Election earlier this month.

Incumbent Jay Chen defeated Joseph K. Chang by a voting margin of 20,701 to 10,023 as of Nov. 20.
Chen, who represents the Area 5 in the Mt. San Antonio Community College District that covers Hacienda Heights and La Puente, was first elected in 2016, reelected in 2020, and served as Mt. SAC Board President in 2021.

Peter Hidalgo and Dr. Manuel Baca each ran unopposed and will each serve another term. Hidalgo was first elected to the Mt. SAC Board of Trustees in 2020 to represent Area 1, which covers north Pomona, San Dimas, La Verne, and south Glendora.

Dr. Baca was first elected to the Mt. SAC Board of Trustees in 1999. Trustee Baca represents Area 7, which covers Pomona and north Diamond Bar. During his tenure on the governing board, he has served multiple terms as president, most recently for the 2023-24 academic year.
