Mt. SAC students seeking jobs and local employers looking for new hires can come together at the Spring 2026 Career Expo in Building 410 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 7.

The event, brought to campus by Mt. SAC’s Career Center, is designed to help students explore internships, part-time roles, and full-time career pathways while building meaningful connections with recruiters and industry professionals.

In addition to meeting with employers, students will have access to a variety of career readiness resources to help them feel confident and prepared as they take the next step in their professional journey. Attendees can receive free professional headshots, learn about services such as the Career Center’s clothing closet, and gain information on financial literacy education and health and wellness support available off and on campus.

“The Career Expo creates a welcoming space for students at any stage of their career exploration, whether they are just beginning to consider their options or actively seeking employment opportunities,” says Career Center Acting Director Lizette Henderson, who welcomed community businesses and organizations to campus during an Employer Open House on January 27.

Students are encouraged to dress professionally, bring copies of their resume, and come prepared with questions to make the most of this valuable networking experience.

“This event is a great opportunity for students to build connections, explore career pathways, and take meaningful steps toward their future,” Henderson says.

Students from all majors and class levels are encouraged to attend and take advantage of this opportunity to build connections, explore career possibilities, and gain valuable resources to support their future success.
