Way to Go Joe Award Goes to Warehouse Staff

The Mt. SAC Printing Services Department received the Way to Go Joe Award last quarter - an internal award for department recognition of outstanding service. Obviously, the print shop gets many deliveries every day of paper, ink and other necessities. Always keeping them well supplied is the Warehouse Staff, who are this quarter’s recipients of the Award.

All deliveries and goods sent to Mt. SAC go through the Warehouse before being delivered to the department that ordered it. The Warehouse also stores supplies for departments to easily have on hand.

Ruben Flores, of the Voices Committee, says, “Susan, Briam, and Hector are reliable and conscientious, they take their responsibilities seriously, and because of this they have a good rapport with the campus community.”

In giving the award, it was noted that, “Given the size of our large campus, the warehouse staff accommodates our needs in a timely, efficient manner.  They are consistently willing to handle our last minute requests and are always courteous and friendly.”

The Way to Go Joe award is a department-to-department award that is passed along quarterly and administered by the Mt. SAC Voices Committee, which is focused on employee recognition across campus.
