Take N’ Care Allows Students to Give and to Take

The REACH Program is putting on their Take N’ Care event. The way it works is that donations of items such as clothing, books, backpacks and items necessary for students, are being accepted until September 30 at the Equity Center (bldg. 16E) from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Items must be in good condition. Then, from October 1 - 2 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., students in need will come to the Equity Center and pick up the items they need. Students should bring a bag to carry their items.

“We want to make it for the entire Mt. Sac Community,” said Joel Ramirez, a student worker at the REACH Center. “We want them to come in and take what they need.”

The event is open to all Mt SAC Students. REACH is an educational program designed to assist current and former foster youth.
