Mt. SAC Featured in Excelencia in Education

Mt. SAC has been featured in Excelencia in Education as the No. 1 California Community College for Hispanic undergrads enrolling and completing their degrees. 

According to Excelencia in Education, the graduation rate for Hispanics at two-year institutions are nine percent lower than that of their non-Hispanic peers. Key indicators for student progress in the report include graduation rates, transfer rates, current and non-current enrollment rates. 

The few colleges that surpass Mt. SAC's number of enrollment and graduating students are California State Universitys . In order from highest ranked to lowest ranked are: CSU Fullerton, CSU Northridge, CSU Long Beach, CSU Los Angeles, and finally Mt. SAC.
