Meet Rizzly the Grizzly!

The 2024 Fall Semester is upon us, and Mounties new and old are working to fill their schedules with completed assignments, social activities, and memorable fun.
One of the freshest faces at Mt. SAC, new mascot Rizzly the Grizzly, is filling up the calendar with many appearances to rub elbows with and get to know students, staff, faculty, and the community.
Here’s some of the upcoming events Rizzly will be attending:
- Tuesday, Sept. 10: Rizzly is making an appearance at Join-a-Club festivities. An information tent will be there 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Rizzly and his special guests will make an appearance about 12 p.m.
- Wednesday, Sept. 11: Rizzly will pay a visit just before the September board meeting.
- Thursday, Sept. 12: Rizzly is making an appearance at the evening Join-a-Club festivities. An information tent will be there 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Rizzly and his special guests will make an appearance about 5:30 p.m.
- Saturday, Sept. 14: Rizzly plans to watch the first home football game. An information tent will welcome guests from 5 p.m. to kickoff. Rizzly will appear about 5:45 p.m.
