Lost and Found Silent Auction is Oct. 2
September 24, 2019 - 01:40 PM
Believe it or not, students lose stuff on campus and never check with the Lost & Found at Student Life, in Building 9c. Items are held for two semesters and then are put up for auction to benefit two great causes.
Those Lost and Found from two semesters ago will be up for auction Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m at the Building 9C stage. Auction-goers may score great deals on items such as clothing, books, cell phones, calculators, backpacks, jewelry, glasses, etc.
"In the past, we have had new Beats headphones, real gold and silver jewelry and many phones that went unclaimed and were up for auction," said Student Services Program Specialist Gabi Quiroz.
Items must be paid for in cash and picked up by 1:00 p.m. on Auction Day. All proceeds from the auction will fund the Mark Minor Memorial Scholarship and Student Life Activities.
