Emergency Preparedness Month

Mt. SAC will observe Emergency Preparedness Month in October with a host of workshops and training sessions, starting with an Emergency Preparedness Fair Tuesday, Oct. 9, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., on the Mountie Café Walkway.

Some of the workshops and activities offered include the following:

  • Active Shooter Training, Wednesday, Oct. 10, 10 to 11:30 a.m.
  • Building Evacuation Drill, Thursday, Oct. 11, 9 to 11 a.m. and 7 to 8 p.m.
  • Disaster Service Worker, Friday, Oct. 12, 10 to 11 a.m.
  • Fire Extinguisher Training, Monday, Oct. 15, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • First Aid, Wednesday, Oct. 17, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  • California Great Shakeout, Thursday, Oct. 18, 10:18 a.m.
