Christina Vides – 2016 Kepler

I began my journey in physics and astronomy at Mt. SAC, where I learned so much through research experiences. Without these opportunities, I would have never known what options were available after completing a physics degree with a specialization in astronomy. I am at Cal Poly Pomona and I will continue research on exoplanet direct imaging at Stanford University as part of the CAMPARE program. The Kepler Scholarship and Mt. SAC have inspired me to strive to meet my academic goals to achieve a PhD in astrophysics.
