Mirvat Mohamed – 2014 Kepler

Winning the Kepler scholarship has inspired me to keep striving for higher knowledge in my field of study. The scholarship money I received helped me move to Hawaii to attend the University and study astronomy and physics. Not only was receiving such an award an honor, the recognition that I have received because of it, has built my confidence and accomplishments. I could not have done it without all of my great professors and mentors, and receiving the Kepler scholarship has no doubt been a building block to my path of success.
