Charley Bell

This is Charley Bell (Professor C), the creative director, and owner of 789, Inc., a boutique creative agency in Southern California. Charley's passion for music, art, dance, and design is evident in everything he does. He believes that creativity is one of the driving forces behind global change, and he works hard to leverage his talents toward making a positive impact on the world.

Charley's dedication to his family, friends, team, and students is a testament to his caring and compassionate nature. He believes in the goodness of humans and the power of love, and he infuses these values into his work. Charley's award-winning branding projects include working on the first Spiderman movie from Sony Pictures and working with clients such as Sony Music, Nestle, UCLA, UCI, Microsoft, Westfield, and over a dozen public agencies. Charley continues to work in several roles from a fractional CMO and creative consultant to the agency-of-record and white-label partnerships for several regional and international clients.

Charley’s professional commitment to his clients is only surpassed by his personal drive to make a difference and help people. He takes pride in his previous work on the State of California's breast cancer awareness campaign, creating 88 miles of smoke-free beaches for Los Angeles County, and strategically positioning a brand new food category that will potentially save the world from an impending food shortage. Charley is also heavily involved in his local community, volunteering for various causes, and helping his fellow local business owners.

He recently achieved one of his long-time goals to start his teaching adventure in hopes to inspire others, just like his professor, Dr. Yarbrough, who inspired him while attending Cal Poly Pomona, CA. Charley believes in the power of humans, love, and life, and he is committed to making the world a better place through his work.
