Welcome

The Fashion Design & Merchandising Program at Mt. San Antonio College offers courses that feature the latest technology related to their respective fields taught by experienced industry professionals. Our hands-on curriculum for Fashion Merchandising and our curriculum for Fashion Design and Technologies are continuously updated to reflect current trends in the apparel industry.

Mt. SAC offers degrees and certificates in fashion design and fashion merchandising. We work closely with local four-year schools to ensure our courses meet their transfer requirements. Currently almost all of our courses transfer to the California State University (CSU) system, offering our students the opportunity to go on to complete undergraduate and graduate degrees in apparel related fields from some of the best colleges in the country.

Our Fashion Design and Technologies program is designed to enable students to evolve successfully as creative apparel designers that have hands-on experience in constructing garments.
Affordable Rates

Since we are part of a California community college, fashion courses are offered at affordable rates and simultaneously provide our students an opportunity to transfer to a four-year fashion program.
Personalized Guidance

As a small program, we have the advantage on being able to offer personalized guidance to all our students. Our faculty members have extensive industry experience in apparel technical design and fashion-related CAD software, as well as other areas of Fashion Design and Technologies.
