Kevin Takumi Kurimoto had a strong affinity towards investing. In trying to increase his financial knowledge base, Kevin was led to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional. Kevin loves the problem-solving aspect of the job. It is similar to solving a puzzle since a large portion of the client relationship is understanding “who” is truly sitting across from you – who they are, what they value, and why. From there, the planning aspect of the job involves fitting all those pieces together into a comprehensive plan. Whether that be planning for retirement or a child’s future college, he loves being able to piece together multiple scenarios and help his clients chart the best way forward.

Kevin attended Mt. San Antonio College, Azusa Pacific University, and became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional in 2008, an M.S. in 2013, and earned the CFA® certification in 2018. He is an active member of the Accounting and Management Department Advisory Committee and the Financial Advisors Network.
