        • 2In Depth Learning with High Quality Equipment

Our classes combine lecture with hands-on training using the latest flight simulators, air traffic control towers simulator and radar system.

        • 3More Drones

Students have the opportunity to hands on learning experience with up to 20 types of different drones, ranging from $500-$30,000. These drrones include multi-coptor and fixed winged units. We have seven flyable aircraft that are housed at Brackett Field in La Verne, available for students who are interested in learning to fly. Last year, the program welcomed a new aircraft used for emergency maneuver training, and with this addition, it makes us the only Aeronautics program in California to offer tailwheel training, which allows a pilot to fly in Alaska and other countries.

        • 4More Robust Programs and Endorsements

In addition to an Unmanned Aircraft Systems Certificate, we offer a commercial flight degree. As one of the original 12 air traffic control (ATC) college programs in the United States, and we are one of only two schools in California with ATC. We’ve partnered with the Federal Aviation Administration since 1997 to prepare students, under the training of professional air traffic controllers, in this field.

        • 5Award Winning Student Clubs

Students continue to learn outside of the classroom by getting involved in our award-winning student organizations, including our nationally-recognized championship Flying Team, active student chapter of Women in Aviation International (19 percent of our graduating students are female, compared to the national average of 6 percent) and the Student Air Traffic Controllers Association (SATCA). Not only do these organizations offer exceptional professional experience, but they also allow our students to apply for scholarships and connect with our industry expert alumni.
