With the addition of three recently approved bachelor’s degree programs, Mt. San Antonio College now offers a total of nine bachelor’s degree programs designed to help Mt. SAC graduates get on the fast track to completing a four-year degree.

“Our partnerships with four-year colleges and universities allow students to pursue their educational goals by earning a bachelor’s degree through Mt. SAC either on our campus or online,” said Mt. SAC President Bill Scroggins.

Through an agreement with Southern Illinois University approved in October, Mt. SAC will begin to offer three public safety bachelor’s degree programs with specialization in fire service management, emergency medical services management, and emergency management administration. These programs will begin enrolling students for the spring 2018 semester.

The bachelor’s programs at Mt. SAC are offered through arrangement with the University of La Verne, Southern Illinois University, and Mount Saint Mary’s University.

In addition to the three recently added programs, students can earn a bachelor’s degree in business administration through the University of La Verne; bachelor’s degrees in criminology and nursing through Mount Saint Mary’s University; and bachelor’s degrees in aviation management, health care management, and radiologic sciences through Southern Illinois University.

The bachelor’s programs offer students a seamless transition to a four-year degree and, in most cases, students never have to leave the Mt. SAC campus.

Mt. SAC, part of the California community college system, currently offers more than 200 associate’s degree and certificate programs.
