Wēpa Student Printing on Campus

Have something to print? Use one of the Mt. SAC Print Stations!  Through a partnership with Wēpa cloud printing, Mt. SAC students can print on any Mt. SAC Print Stations throughout campus.

    • 1Mobile Printing

      Touch-free and mobile printing requires thewepa Print app. It can be used to print from Apple and Android smartphones and tablets. Please note: the Android app is not compatible with Chromebooks.

      Apple iOS

      1. Download the wepa Print app onto your Apple device
      2. Open the document you want to print and select the Open  icon in the top right hand corner
      3. Select Open in wepa Print
      4. Log in with your Mt. SAC portal username and password when prompted by the WEPA Print app
      5. Select the print options and number of copies to print (Color, B/W, portrait, landscape, and duplex printing options are available)
      6. Tap Send to wepa to upload your document to the cloud
      7. You will receive confirmation that your file has been uploaded and processed.
      8. Tap the rocket icon to select which files to release for printing. When selected, the rocket will turn blue and the print station icon at the bottom of your screen will show how many documents you have selected.
      9. Visit any kiosk on campus 
      10. Tap the print station in the lower right of the app window to log in to a print kiosk.
      11. Tap your phone up to the login sticker. (You must have NFC communication enabled on your phone.)
      12. Collect your print job

      Android

      1. Download the wepa Print app from the Google Play store. (If you are running Android KitKat 4.4 or above, visit our FAQ page for instructions. To check what version of Android you are running, go to Settings > About This Device.)
      2. Select Open in wepa Print
      3. Log in with your Mt. SAC portal username and password  when prompted by the WEPA Print app
      4. Select the print options and number of copies to print (Color, B/W, portrait, landscape, and duplex printing options are available)
      5. Tap Send to wepa to upload your document to the cloud

      How To Manage Your Documents

      • The ‘Wepa Code’ column indicates whether the document will be available to print at the wepa print station.
      • A 6 alpha-numeric code indicates the document will appear in your print queue while a ‘Recover File’ link indicates the document will not appear and occurs when it has already been printed.

      Re-Print Documents

      • Select the ‘Recover File‘ link to re-print the document again.

      Delete Documents

      • To prevent documents from appearing your print queue at the print station, select the box to the left of the Wepa code then ‘Bulk Delete’.

      Note, documents will automatically be deleted from ‘My Documents’ on the website after 6 days from the upload date.

      How To Deposit Funds

       

      Website

      1. Login to Wēpa account by entering your Mt. SAC credentials.  
      2. Select ‘Deposit Funds‘ in top right blue menu bar or select ‘add more‘ by ‘CURRENT BALANCE’ in the right side print queue.
      3. Select an amount to deposit ($5.00, $10.00, $15.00, $20.00, $25.00, $50.00)
      4. Select a Payment Method, either Credit Card or PayPal.
      5. If Credit Card, enter Billing and Payment Information then Submit CC Deposit.
      6. If PayPal, select PayPal Checkout for a pop-up window to login to account or enter guest information.
      • Billing Information – NOTE: Enter 00000 for Zip when using International card.
      • Payment Information – NOTE: Expiration Date Format is MMYY and NOT MM/YY.

      Print Station

      1. Login to Wēpa account by entering your Mt. SAC credentials.  
      2. Select blue menu icon in top right, then ‘Deposit Money‘ from drop down menu.
      3. Select the amount to deposit ($10.00 defaulted) then ‘Next‘.
      4. Select a payment option, either credit/debit card on left or PayPal on right.
      5. If credit/debit card, swipe card when prompted.
      6. If PayPal, select ‘PayPal Checkout‘ to login to account.
      7. Deposited funds will appear under ‘Account Balance‘ in top right.

      Transferring Print Card Balance

       

      1. At print station, login to your wēpa account.  If guest user, please see guest user section.
      2. In top right corner will show an Account Balance which is your wēpa account balance. Select the blue menu icon right above for multiple options, select "Transfer Print Card Balance."
      3. Swipe your print card and a success message will appear with your updated wēpa account balance with the print card balance added. You can discard the print card.
      4. The updated wepa account balance will be shown in the top right corner under Account Balance. Repeat Steps 2 and 3 for each print card balance transfer.

      Print and Create a Wepa Account as a Guest

      1. Register using the online form on wepa's website at: www.wepanow.com/login 
      2. In the "Select School" drop-down list, select "A Guest User" and click the "Register" tab
      3. Fill out the information requested and submit form
      4. Once your account is created, you will receive confirmation that your registration is complete
      5. Print from a USB drive and pay with a credit/debit card.
      6. Credit cards may not be swiped at the kiosk. You must manually enter card information on the screen.  
      7. A $0.40 transaction fee will apply to all credit/debit card purchases

      Print without a Guest Wepa Account

      1. Upload your document from a computer using the (Wepa print driver if applicable), email (print@wepanow.com) or take your USB to a kiosk.
      2. You will receive an alpha-numeric code when your files are ready for release.  We strongly encourage for you to take a picture of the code. 
      3. Visit any kiosk on campus and select Guest Printing.
      4. Enter the release code to download your print jobs from the cloud.  Documents will only be stored for 15 minutes from time of upload.
      5. Select the file to print and your payment method
      6. Collect your print job
