At its annual meeting on December 12th, the Mt. SAC Board of Trustees, elected new officers.

Three men vying to be Mt. San Antonio College’s next police chief faced questions about racial profiling, use of force, community policing and the establishment of an on-campus police department during an open forum on Wednesday.

Local voters sent a strong message of support to Mt. San Antonio College on Tuesday, passing Measure GO by 60.82%, casting 78,943 votes in favor of the educational bond. To pass, Mt. SAC needed 55%.

The Mt. San Antonio College Board of Trustees selected Walnut resident Gary Chow to serve as an interim trustee, replacing longtime member Dr. David Hall who died in April.
