(2017) Dr. Steven Levin - The New Jupiter: Juno Mission Early Results

Dr. Levin received his Ph.D. in Physics from UC Berkeley in 1987. Steve has built and used radiometers to observe the Cosmic Microwave Background from mountaintops in California and from the South Pole, as well as from spacecraft. Steve was the acting Deputy Project Scientist for the Juno Mission. The Mission conducted an in-depth study of Jupiter. They launched in August 2011 and reached the giant planet in July 2016.
