Heart of The Milky Way Galaxy
Take a glimpse into the heart of the Milky Way Galaxy. Our home galaxy. There are more than a half of a million stars in this image. They make up the Milky Way’s nuclear star cluster and are neighboring our galaxy’s central supermassive black hole. This area is so tightly packed with stars it is equal to having a million suns crammed between us and our closest stellar neighbor, Alpha Centauri.
