Writers' Workshops
Generate new work with creative writing exercises and have your work critiqued by published writers, publishers, and fellow writers in a fun and comfortable environment. Get a unique look into professional writers’ creative process and share your knowledge and love of writing with others.
Visual Arts Workshops & Seminars
Mt. SAC professors will lead workshops aimed at fusing the visual arts with other art forms, including writing and theater. Studio activities will explore elements of design, ceramics, printmaking, and drawing. Attend seminars to learn about the art field from art professionals in the industry, including animators and curators, through seminars and hands-on activities.

Music Workshops
Our music workshops will be held on the afternoon of Saturday the 4th. Our workshops include:
- 1pm: African hand-drumming (Main grassy area)
- 2:30pm: Live music performance using Ableton Live and a Push controller (Bld 13 room 2425)
- 4:00pm: DJing using Serato DJ Pro, Algoriddm, Djay Pro, and Pioneer DJ controllers (Founders Hall)
- 7:30pm: Mt SAC Culturama Ecstatic Dance (Founders Hall)

Participate in interactive workshops where you will learn how to spot fake news, how to protect your online reputation, how to brand yourself and your projects through social media promotion and audience engagement, and how to publish digital content that reaches a targeted audience.

Network and social with other Culturama attendees, presenters, and the Mt SAC community.
- 5:00-6:00 pm: Catered food and refreshments
- 6:00-7:00 pm Culturama Awards Ceremony, raffle, and open mic
- 7:30-10:00 pm Culturama Ecstatic Dance, hosted by the Mt SAC SONA Student Music Club.
