This short-term program is intended to prepare students to become advocates for just, fair, and sustainable communities. This program is for students seeking to improve the resilience of their communities. This program provides foundational skills and training that can be applied to a broad selection of industries and jobs, as well as alternative food economies, with a particular focus on local food systems, regenerative agriculture, and sustainably meeting the needs of the community. Students must pass all required courses to earn the Regenerative Communities Certificate of Completion.
Program Learning Outcomes
- Students will be able to gain entry-level employment in an organization connected to food systems, community sustainability, or environmental stewardship.
- Students will be able to demonstrate the application of sustainable and regenerative principles to a broad range of industries and facets of the community.
- Students will be able to become leaders for change, improving community resilience by implementing sustainable and regenerative practices in their chosen industry.

Mt. San Antonio College offers classes in career and technical education (CTE) program areas such as Animation and Gaming, Culinary Arts, Geographic Information Systems, Veterinary Technology, Fire Technology, and many more, under its open admissions policy.
