Certificates - Radio

Certificates can be a great option for students who want career training to advance in their current job or learn a new trade. They require fewer units than degrees.


 

Radio On-Air Certificate

This Certificate is designed for students who are interested in the performance side of the industry and prepares students for an entry-level job in a variety of areas. Students will receive hands-on instruction in the skills needed to work as disc jockeys, newscasters, voice-over artists and other performance areas of the radio industry. The total units for the Radio On-Air Certificate is 35.

This Certificate is designed for students who are interested in the non-performance side of the industry and prepares students for an entry-level job in a variety of areas including production, promotion, copywriting and management. The total units for the Radio Behind-the-Scenes Certificate is 35 units.
