Mary Chabot

Professor Mary Chabot has retired after 24 years of service in the Mathematics Department. Mary taught the full spectrum of math courses from prealgebra to calculus and differential equations. She served as president of the Academic Senate and as director of a Title V grant that was responsible for establishing the MARC at Mt. SAC. She was named the Academic Senate’s Outstanding Educator of 2000 and was honored as an Educator of Distinction. She enjoys golf, watercolors, and fabric art. In retirement, Mary plans to spend more time with family and friends and enjoy uninterrupted art sessions.
