Patrick’s introduction to the visual arts began by accident as a teenager doodling the logos of his favorite rock bands onto his school notebooks. After his graduation from Cal State University Northridge, he went on to work as a graphic designer and art director for numerous award winning design firms and produced internationally published projects for the likes of Fox Searchlight, Warner Brothers, Paramount Pictures, and Columbia Pictures. His career in academia began in 2004 where he found a new passion in the art of teaching. Since then he has worked as adjunct as well as full-time faculty, and has helped guide and nurture his students to win numerous prestigious national design awards. He currently works as a freelance graphic designer, art director, and an educator.
