Whether you decide to attend Mt. SAC or are just “shopping” for colleges, we are glad that you are researching ours. We know you have a choice of many fine colleges in this area. We ask you to choose very carefully. You should compare schools, programs, and services before you make your final decision. Mt. The mission of Mt. SAC's Disabled Student Programs & Services (DSP&S) is equal access. We expect that you will enjoy full and equal access to any facility, class, program, service or activity on our campus. Your primary mission in attending College should be to receive a good education. With that in mind, our goal is to assist you to pursue your education at Mt. San Antonio College. As an adult college student, you enjoy certain rights and privileges, such as the right to confidentiality. Along with those rights and privileges also come responsibilities. One such responsibility is to request assistance as soon as you need it. You also are responsible for maintaining satisfactory progress and DSP&S is here to assist you.
Our vision is to assist our students to be successful. Success means different things to different people. Success for some is completing a course. For others, it means completing a program, a degree or obtaining a job. What does it mean for you? We can help you figure it out. We are happy to report students find our services helpful. In a survey conducted in 2009, students overwhelmingly found that DSP&S counseling services contributed to their academic success!
