Enhancing Your Cohort Web Pages

The use of consistent header and footer sections are an important part of the Mt. SAC website layout design.  These sections helps visitors to navigate and search for content.

The typical website visitor will spend about 2 seconds evaluating a web page before deciding if the content is relevant to them. Most will only glance at the top area that loads in the browser and may never scroll down to see what else is available.

Therefore, it is important to create web pages that make good use of graphics, colors, contrast, type and white space that highlights branding and lets the user know at a glance what other content is available on your website.
