Mt. SAC H.S.I. Status
- The first Title V grant started in 2000 at Mt. SAC. As a college, we are required to apply annually to maintain that designation, as it is a combination of not just Hispanic student enrollment of at least 25% but also a student requirement of at least 50% low-income.
- while the College’s first Title V grant started in 2000, we had previously held at least one Title III grant. While Title III grants are not specific to HSIs, they do have the same low-income student requirement.
- Following are the list of Title V grants that Mt. SAC has held (From the Grants Office):
- 10/1/2019 – 9/30/2024: Creating an Equity-minded Campus Culture to Improve Student Outcomes
- 10/1/2013 – 9/30/2019: Building Pathways of Persistence and Completion
- 10/1/2006 – 9/30/2011: Addressing Acute Student Needs at Mt. San Antonio College
