  • Emphasis Driven Skills Assessments for Film and Television Program
    R-TV 19B Advanced Video Production: A- Student is to hold a production position according to a declared emphasis by the student. a. Emphasis Film Production: Director, 1st AD, Script Supervisor, Director of Photography, Picture editor, Assistant Editor or Production sound mixer. B- Method of Assessment: a. Rubrics specific to the roles and responsibilities of the positions indicated above. i. Demonstration of skills during practical production assignment(s). ii. Testing of knowledge base required for each discipline. R-TV 100 Work experience in Film and Television. A- Student is to hold a production position according to a declared emphasis by the student. a. Emphasis Television Production: Director, Associate Director, Technical Director, Camera Operator, Video Control Operator, Audio mixer (A-1), Playback operator. B- Method of Assessment: a. Rubrics specific to the roles and responsibilities of the positions indicated above. i. Demonstration of skills during practical production assignment(s). ii. Testing of knowledge base required for each discipline referenced to prior course work of study. b. Crafting a video portfolio with examples of their body of work for the semester to be used in obtaining internship with external company partners.
