• Effective Teaching Strategies
  Students completing the AS Educational Paraprofessional Degree (S0375) will Identify and implement a variety of developmentally appropriate pedagogical techniques and classroom management strategies to meet the needs of all learners.

• Promoting Child Development and Learning
  Students completing the AS Educational Paraprofessional Degree (S0375) will be grounded in Child Development theory and knowledge and use their understanding of young children and their needs to create environments that are healthy, respectful, supportive and challenging for each child.

• Roles and Responsibilities
  Students completing the AS Educational Paraprofessional Degree (S0375) will have an understanding of the respective roles and responsibilities of licensed staff (teachers, administrators, education specialists, etc.) in supporting students and collaborating with each other.
