ACCOUNTING MAJORS: I encourage you to participate actively, do the homework and stay committed. Accounting is constantly changing to meet the needs of the financial community. The requirements to become a CPA have also undergone massive changes. After several years of decline, the number of students studying accounting is now on a steep incline and accounting positions exceed accounting graduates. Congratulations on your decision to study accounting!
