I am an avid researcher with 7 years of teaching experience. I have a Bachelor's (B.E), Master’s (M.Tech) and Ph.D Engineering degrees in Biotechnology. Earlier I have taught at SJ College of Engineering a technical academic university in India for 6 years (2009-15). I have taught various Bio-Engineering courses like Industrial Biotechnology, Product isolation and purification, Cell & Molecular Biology, Cell & Tissue Culture Technology, Environmental Biotechnology, Microbiology, Enzymology and Bioinformatics. Currently, I have been teaching science majors, Bio 4 and Bio 8 Cell and Molecular Biology in Mt. SAC since 2018. My research experiences are in the areas - Algal culture and reactor design, Protein/Enzyme purification, Role of Plant Bioactives in Neurodegeneration and wound healing.
I used to be professional Speed Roller Skater and have represented India (country) at various competitions.
