born in a small town in the state of Mexico. She immigrated to the United States with
her parents in 1986. Her parents were in search of better educational opportunities.
This was especially important to her dad who only completed the 6th grade. She is forever thankful to her parents who risked it all to come to this country.
It is because of her parents that she was able to follow and achieve her dreams.
