MY MISSION STATEMENT:

Student success will guide every action I take and every decision I make.  Mt. SAC students' academic success, intellectual growth, and personal development are my #1 priority.

BA - Human Communication: California State University, Fullerton

MA - Intercultural & Organizational Communication: California State University, Fullerton

MEd - Curriculum: California Coast University

MY COMMUNITY COLLEGE EXPERIENCE:

I am the product of a community college and have chosen to teach in a community college because I believe it's the single most important resource many students will ever experience. I know the struggle of transitioning from high school to college while working full-time. I know the struggle of being broke and wondering how I would pay rent, pay for my books, and find time to study after working long hours. I have been through the struggle and fully empathize with many students' experiences. 

MY MT. SAC EXPERIENCE:

I've taught at Mt. SAC since 2001 and know the campus and it's student population very well. I  know that Mt. SAC is a special place, can change students' lives, has a wealth of resources and student support services, and has some of the best professors I've ever met!
